The Hart Law Group's Lawyers

Living and working in Asheville is a special kind of treat.  Most of us take for granted the beauty, grandeur and lifestyle that Western North Carolina has to offer.  Needless to say, special places draw special people.  Its obvious everywhere you look here, especially among Buncombe County's legal professionals.

Asheville and Buncombe County have about 600 lawyers serving businesses, families and individuals throughout the area.  While it is not the largest in North Carolina, the 28th Judicial District Bar is continually recognized for excellence in professionalism, civic and community service, and its members' dedication to pro bono services.  The Mountain Area Volunteer Lawyers (MAVL), a division of the 28th Judicial District Bar managed by Pisgah Legal Services, provides legal services to those in need through time donated by Western North Carolina lawyers.

In addition to supporting the MAVL program, The Hart Law Group staff dedicate their time and services to such entities as the United Way, local schools, churches, civic and ecological agencies, and civic governing boards and by volunteering their time, personally, professionally and educationally.

Our lawyers and professional staff represent nearly a century of cumulative legal experience serving clients in the areas of real estate, probate, medicaid, estate and trust planning and administration, corporate and business law, construction law, property disputes, 1031 like-exchange tax-deferred facilitation and domestic partnerships.

Our group has a giant wanderlust, having each traveled extensively and lived in remote and amazing places.  Individually, we are parents, nature and animal lovers, outdoor and extreme sports enthusiasts and gourmet cooks. Take a look at our personal pages to get to know each of us a little better.
