Jane Soboleski Asheville Real Estate Attorney
Still known as Jane Dearwester in some circles because she is newly wed, Jane began her legal career in trial consultancy and computer aided litigation support. Since her move to Asheville in 2003, Jane has represented a broad cross-section of clients involved in residential and commercial real estate transactions and disputes.
In 2000, Jane received her Juris Doctor from The Law School of Duquesne University in Pittsburgh where she received honors for excellence in trial advocacy from the Louis L. Manderino Honor Society and was a national team member of the Gourley Moot Court Competition. Jane attended the London Summer Program through the University of Miami School of Law in 1999 where she studied transnational litigation and comparative constitutional law with John Hart Ely, a prominent constitutional scholar, while she traveled England and Central Europe.
Prior to law school, Jane studied at The College of Wooster where she received her Bachelor degree in Political Science, with a minor in philosophy.
In 2001 Jane landed in Wilmington and established a general practice representing clients in a range of matters with an entire spectrum of backgrounds. And while Wilmington is a very nice place to be, it isn't Asheville, and in 2003, Jane came to Asheville, where she worked as a managing attorney at the statewide law firm of Brock & Scott. In 2005, though, Jane established a flourishing private practice with offices in historic Pack Square, right in the middle of Asheville's downtown art and shopping district. In 2008, Jane teamed up with Mary Hart to form The Hart Law Group.

A native of Ohio, Jane, with her husband, Sean Soboleski (Soboleski Law), chose Asheville as their home because all it had to offer. Self professed animal lovers, nature and outdoors enthusiasts, they enjoy hiking and camping and love their proximity to attractions like The Appalachian Trail and the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Although an avid traveler and explorer, Jane most enjoys the comfort of home and the relaxed environment of Asheville and Western North Carolina.
Jane's pal, Sierra is an oft-found presence and provides the office with a relaxed and friendly persona. Come by and meet her. She makes friends everywhere and helps our dog loving clients feel relaxed.
